As much as fighting is physical its just as much Mental as anything thing. You say you've done some training, this training should be boosting your confidence daily. If not then you need to go train someone where (no offense). Back to your fight a year ago, a year ago is a long time ago, people change so much over 12months. Just a small example look at Brock vs Mir (an example on a Mega Scale so you can relate to it). But honestly when it comes down to it, just believe in yourself and when he comes at you don't back down from him like your afraid of him, the quickest way to get rid of a bully is to show your not gonna pushed around and sadly that Bully will move onto his next victim. Just my 2 cents

You should probably talk to a teacher or adult. As for the fighting, it's probably best to avoid it (can you run fast?). I know that's what your gonna hear from everyone, but I'm 14 too and I know how you feel. If it comes down to it, and you have to fight him, just do whatever's possible to defend yourself and end the fight ASAP. I'd be a little worried about having to fight a guy when he has a group of friends with him. Maybe try and walk with a small group of your own friends around school, just as a slight way to make you feel more confident. Haha and what did you do to deserve the guy trying to fight you?

First off, there's no way you can win against a group, and this guy will probably keep coming with a group. It's best to contact the police, or some sort of administrator, or you could be picked up by one if you're caught trying to fight him.

School admin may or may not work, depending on your scenario. Some bullies will not back down even if ignored, and the schools take their sweet time trying to 'figure out' why the incident occurred, when really, there may be precious little time to solve the problem before that happens.

Everyone telling you to talk to an adult is right. Your parents, principal, teachers, coaches, and local police will all help you.

The only way through fear is to face it and keep training. You should consider joining the wrestling team and football team, since both give you chances to face opponents and deal with the fear. Ask your Muay Thai coach about competitions too.

You shouldn't have to fight this guy, but you shouldn't live in fear either.

Im a TKD black belt and i may be some assistance. So if this character comes up to you with a group then that will be bad. when that happens,as weird as it may be, just walk away. Another way that you can be secured or safe is to stay with the general population of the school. So that way, teachers, students, and law enforcement are there to protect you. So just stay away from solitude and do your best not to start a fight. If you need more help, ill be able to talk.

as all these other people are saying avoid the fight if possible but if you cant fight dirty. go for the groin and the eyes and areas like that. throw some dirt in his eyes and then punch him in the face or something. be a fighter not a martial artist. when it comes down to it this is a fight against a group so you probably have to fight like that to get out in one piece.

No offence but you dont need an experienced fighter to answer this question. First of try reasoning, it's always best to find a non violent way out of confrontations. If not take up Krav Maga it is the best martial art for self defence, or judo.
