Earlier I asked for a bloody martial art for a character I'm creating who is sadistic. Now there's the main villain who deliberately kills his opponents.

I did some research and found a term called Anatsatsuken, which roughly translates from Japanese as "assassination fist", but its not a martial art so much as a term used in Japanese media to describe a martial art (often made up) that kills opponents.

I also understand that most if not all martial arts can be lethal if used in a certain way. But what I want to know:
Was there ever a hand to hand martial art specifically designed to kill people and not just self defense?

Remember this; Martial Arts had been developed with same aim and objectives, to defend oneself or others on any physical threat.

Although, arts had been made for self defense issues and concerns, but some components of it been prepared, that they can use full force or fatal actions if time dictates that they are in critical situation, a persons understanding on the field he is with is one thing he needs to consider and adopt for him to know his limitations.

But killing is not about studying, every person has an instinct of doing it, just take a look at some jail, most of them charge with case related to murder, some didn’t even knows anything about Martial Arts but they just take the life of others for an instant actions.

Sorry to disagree but here is my report! The origin of what we know as martial arts by design was not for killing!

1 In the case of Chinese MA's which is the roots it was originally intended to build yourself so that those whom were close to you would be inspired to become better as well.

2 Okinawa is the trunk and still maintained the Principal in order to build our country we must first rebuild ourselves.

Now im not going to continue through the different disciplines but here are the facts.

It is not the system nor culture and not even the person that kills.........

it is the complications that follow as the result of a given action that leads to death.

some. All martial arts if utilized properly and that's the practitioners purpose. Killing a guy is comparatively undemanding besides. needed factors in simple terms like the throat paintings incredibly nicely. the only "martial paintings" i understand of noticeably designed to kill in todays modern-day society besides MMCAMP and genuine Israeli Krav Maga, or Systema Spetsnaz is a mix of arts making a "gadget" and is utilized in specific government jobs. it incredibly is designed to kill an assailant very virtually in the present day. Failure can advise harm to the president, government officers, and so on.

All martial arts are meant for killing, thus the whole martial part. They are the arts of war, they were originally intended only for killing.

Virtually all martial art teach killing in one form another whether it's chokes, strikes, pressure points, rips, breaks or cuts.

I think what you meant was Ansatsuken. That's a fictional word.

No hand to hand martial art will teach killing as good as a weapons art. I think you're going to have to look into something along those lines.

All Martial Arts, if trained well, can kill. So there isn't any Martial Arts which is not intended for killing. Maybe Health TaiChi is not intended for killing.

Basically ALL martial arts are made for killing, hence the name, MARTIAL arts, if you re-word it then you get WAR arts.

Some martial arts are NOT made for killing though, Like Muay Thai and Taekwondo, which are more sport oriented.

Every martial art is deadly which is why it was made for military use and etc. some are made for art such as dancing but even these are deadly.

It would be safe to say that any martial art that involves bladed weapons whether it be a sword, spear or knife is meant for killing.

All of them.

I train in a traditional Japanese style of karate that is very based on tradition and respect, but the basic rule outside of training is: You never start a fight, but if somebody else does, you fricking cripple that guy. It ends when he ends. Violence is rarely the answer, but when it is the answer it is the only answer.

Any legitimate martial art, if trained in well and studied, will give someone the skills to end a human/cause maximum damage in a very short time very, very well.

The martial art designed specifically for killing is Varma Ati (also known as Marma Ati or Varma Kalai) from India, which is based on attacking sensitive pressure points of the human body. A person can be VERY easily killed, paralyzed or just brought to the ground in unimaginable pain only after receiving a hit or two in those special "pressure points".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marma_Ati

"Varma Kalai uses pressure and precise strikes to vulnerable pressure points on the human body to heal, maim or even kill someone depending on what part of the body is hit and how much pressure is applied based on periodic energy flows (time-dependent) streaming through the body along meridians. The knowledge and methods of Varma Kalai has been passed on in secret for centuries and was shared amongst only selected disciples under strict code of ethics and discipline of the legendary ASSANS (masters). The knowledge was transmitted only when disciples acquired enough experience and maturity in order to be responsible for themselves. "

The fastest way of killing someone with a Martial Art is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Mainly because a high level Jiu Jitsu practitioner would take his opponent to the ground, control him and do whatever he wants within a matter of a few seconds. That would be either choke him unconcious (or keep the hold of the choke to kill the person), break the persons arms or legs with a leg or armlock, etc.

But I dont think any martial art was made to kill someone. All for self defense.
